Romanizing Jessica

I am very happy today ‘coz I finally found the lyrics of my favorite OST in Jumong, “Sarangi Giok” by Ju Mo Si – a very beautiful, vocally powerful song, it instantly mesmerized my musical soul the first time it was played in one of the early scenes of Jumong, a great Korean drama aired recently here in the Philippines. That, in spite of the fact that I don’t understand a single word in it.:P Truly, music is a universal language: the spirit understands what the brain can not.

Months ago, I was groping in the dark for this song simply because I couldn’t understand Korean and I had no idea what the title is (if that is some sort of a crime, forgive me). I was dying to listen to it in its entirety, not just the first few lines or the chorus as often played in the show.. so I seek the help of Google, my gracious ally in the worldwideweb. It brought me to a lot of Korean/Jumong-related sites, which led me to even more Korean/Jumong-related sites that, on one hand, filled my longings for Song Il-Gook (need I tell you how much I admire this man?), and another, led me to download links of Jumong OSTs. All good. Unfortunately, my internet connection (charged hourly) was too slow to even get a sample of one song just to see if it’s the one I am looking for. And there were 20 or so of them. Goodness gracious! Speaking of torture. :p

Next, I will tell you how I finally got the song on my computer – in full…and lived happily ever after…lol. hehhe. :p
